I am a Medical Technologist who has worked in two hospitals as well as a large corporate laboratory. I worked in the cosmetic industry as a Microbiologist and toxicology information analyst. I currently live in Baltimore, Maryland where I am taking a few classes at University of Maryland College Park. I am looking to get back into Medical Technology or Microbiology.

I deal with product safety and microbiology. I test finished products to ensure that the level of microbes that may be growing within teh sample is below a certain point, as well as if anything is growing that the microorganisms are not pathogens. I also do Microbial Content testing on clincal samples from the chemists, along with Bioluminescence of raw ingredients (new procedure) to see if we can detect microbes in less than 24 hrs. Previously working in hospitals I was a generalist Medical Technologists who worked in coagulation, hematology, urinalysis, chemistry, special chemistry, blood bank, and microbiology.
