Production Support Lead

In addition to supporting strategic IT initiatives for insurance and accounting technologies, I’ve supported Helpdesk operations and production support applications. Highlights of my career include:  Orchestrated SOX compliance initiative for Unix that was adopted throughout Kaiser Permanente and hailed as huge success by management. Implemented 3-tier DME Ordering and Tracking System (DOTS) system to support need for 24/7 availability crucial for patient safety and care.  Enhanced scheduling capabilities by developing a J2EE-based web application with a single sign on that allowed administrators to balance workload distributed to healthcare providers.  Turned-around a stalled project to migrate Funds Disbursement Authority (FDA) application from Websphere 5.0 to Websphere 6.0. Successfully delivered project within 90 day window, ensuring client satisfaction.  Defined best practices for change management and implementation to support Kaiser’s new OB/GYB facility in Baldwin Park.
