My name is Greg Willcockson. I am a leader recognized by my peers. I enjoy working as a project manager who organizes groups of people and keeps communication flowing. I remove roadblocks. Flexibility is added where needed. With PMP training, I know of the triple constraints: scope, time, money. I work with the stakeholders/hidden stakeholders, and get their buying while limiting scope creep. I am looking for a role as manager of a team excited by the challenges of each day. I know the tech roles: SAN, server, TBU, NAS, and client hardware. I know the tech, team lead, manager roles for software support, Exchange, lost licenses, expired warranties, and manufacturing. I enjoy speaking English, French, Spanish, German in that order. I have lived in four countries. My team should have training to do the immediate job as well as have the opportunity to become more knowledgeable in personal directions. The workplace will have a positive, happy, cooperative tone underlying the many moments of stress. I look forward to hearing from you so I can let you know why I am the person who can get your work done accurately, completely, and on time to make you and your team look their best. If you need to know where I am coming from, I was a tech in the field or office for a decade in the 1990's. Then, I became a Cisco CCNP and CCAI trainer for 11 years an excellent CCNA pass percentage. My students sense and share my enthusiasm. I have also worked at Dell 8 years. After one year as a gold server tech speaking French, I advanced to an escalation manager for all techs. This position is technical account manager, TAM. Upset customers felt much better after they had a chance to vent as I listened patiently with an open mind. Then, I let them know what I could do for them, my action plan, and got their buy in. Having lived in four countries and four states, I am open to different cultures, needs, and accents as they spoke. I enjoy speaking English, French, Spanish, and German. My customers appreciated having a single point of contact who updated them on time with executive emails and or conference calls. Knowing the managers, team leads and policies at Dell, I could quickly bring the right teams together to resolve the issue.
