Description
We'll discuss this at my first (telephone) interview: My passion for pharmaceutical sales as it ties two of my strengths. First, I am a science lover who can quickly assimilate appropriate articles and create a memorable 30 second elevator speech. Also, I can build rapport efficiently by listen to the Dr.'s small talk and scan his office for his non-work passions--which I hope are mine as well, but I knowledgable on enough trivial subject that I can pretend to be interested on at least a moderate level the first visit (30 seconds) and subsequently expand my knowledge for my second visit. My search is gear toward Oceanside (north San Diego county), but if I have a company car and gas card, I'll expand my radius significantly. Regarding computer skills, I used JAVA at GlaxoSmithKline as well as salesforce.com, the microsoft suite of software on Apple and IBM clones. I routinely used lunch & learns to meet new or hard to meet office staff and Dr.'s who "won't see reps"--oh, you'll see me, just give me time to master your medical and non-medical loves.
