I am considering full-time opportunities at or above the level of $62,400/yr ($30.00/hr), which is the average of the rates of compensation on my last two IT positions. I have 18 years full-time experience with PC-based network administration and end-user support, with light-duty first-level network engineering in Novell 3.12 / 4.1 / 5.1 and Windows NT 2000 / 2003 Server environments. I am immediately available for employment and can accept phone interviews with at least one day advanced notice. I have taken classes focusing on MCSE 2000 and MCSE 2003 core technologies but have not taken any certification tests. I have recently held a Public Trust security clearance with the US Department of Commerce, Bureau of the Census. I am a US citizen, located in the Baltimore / Washington DC area. In 18 years of full-time work I have made great use of limited opportunities to develop as an IT professional. I have worked very well as part of dedicated teams of network support specialists, and feel that, as in past experiences, once immersed in a conducive work environment I can add great value. I recently completed a Masters degree online in Information Systems and Technology from South University in June 2011, and I expect to be much more active in network infrastructural development and maintenance.
