My career commenced under the wing of my parents, which for over 30 years had their retail/manufacturing jewelry business in Downtown Miami. This early exposure allowed me to learn all aspects of a jewelry business. For 10 years I owned an J.B.T rated retail jewelry store, Aurumex, Inc., and a manufacturing factory in Merida, Yucatan, Mexico with an average of 100 employees in four divisions where we manufactured fine gold jewelry for company's such as Jewel America/Oro d'all Italia, Cosmopolitan & World Pacific located in NYC. As a part of my responsibilities, I would supervise the production, personnel, and travel yearly to trade shows in Basel, Las Vegas and New York to prospect business and purchase jewelry while negotiating with customers and vendors alike. I'm currently working as a retail sales manager at Macy's but seeking a company where I can utilize my experience as the entrepreneur of a retail jewelry enterprise but my retail sales management skills to there maximum potential; not only for my own professional gratification but also for the financial prosperity of the company that hires me...I have an acute knowledge of what it takes to not only hire but train sales associates to provide superior customer service and results.
