I had a great contract job training vehicle dealerships on soon-to-be-released new models. It let me combine public speaking skills, product knowledge and sales presentation skills into one position. I also enjoyed the travel. Unfortunately, with the Detroit car maker budget cuts, the corporation I worked for lost the contract. I am looking for a position where I can provide marketing, sales and/or training for a corporation that is looking for people that can take them to the next level. In any job I've had, I always have found new and more efficient ways to get the job done. Having worked in 4 diverse industries, I am excellent at cross-pollinating ideas between industries. I am open to relocation if needed in the southeast and midwest.

Some of my accomplishments: In 2008, one of the best compliments I've ever received was to be told at several times that I was the best product trainer that had ever visited their facility. In 2006 I took over a start-up vehicle salvage auction location and grew the business by 15% in three months. In 2000 I grew a new Daewoo automotive dealership to the number 2 volume company-owned location in the U.S. within 10 months of taking over as the location general manager. Some early career accomplishments are: Second place in the National Account Exec. of the Quarter contest for a major international air freight airline with over 125 Account Execs. Project manager for Nissan North America pioneering the installation of VIN number engraving on 300 ZX glass panels. This resulted in a 30% reduction in comprehensive insurance premiums. |
