My primary goals are to find a position in which I can use my skills with fiscal success as well as personal satisfaction. Especially as a woman in a somewhat unstable economy, I find myself pre-occupied with my own financial independence and future security, and I would be highly-motivated to assist other individuals with the same concerns, as I develop my own resources. In considering what attributes I bring to a potential employer, several work experiences come to mind: 1) As a writer, I’m articulate. I’ve written advertising and marketing copy in virtually every format for clients in several industries, among them banking. 2) I have considerable sales experience, including a recent part-time position as a commissioned Sales Associate at Saks Fifth Avenue, a corporation with superior standards, which requires outstanding customer service from its employees. 3) As a former producer, I produced big-budget commercials and was required to write estimates, hire and manage suppliers, and complete projects on-budget and on-time. My success depended on the effective and responsible handling of money. 4) Before earning an MA in Communications, I was a teacher, and so I’m practiced in speaking in public to educate others and inspire them to action. 5) I'm proficient in computer skills. I’ve developed the necessary interpersonal and organizational skills to thrive in a highly-visible, fast-paced, and competitive environment. I would be willing to consider an entry-level position, and I’m available for full-or part-time employment that would utilize my creative, administrative, and/or sales and marketing skills with an opportunity for advancement.
