Description
For the past 5 years, I have held production and marketing positions with successively increased responsibility with Pilgrim’s Pride (previously Gold Kist Corporation), a leading firm in the poultry industry. My current responsibilities include buying and selling poultry from large national accounts in the food industry. Prior to joining Gold Kist, I completed the Bachelor and Master of Science programs in Applied Economics at Auburn University. My course work included studies in futures and options markets, micro and macro economic theory. Additionally, I have had over 10 years of exposure to the capital and credit markets, having worked part-time with my father in the residential mortgage backed securities business. I was selected for the Alpha Zeta Honors Fraternity as well as the National Honors Society as a result of academic performance in Agricultural Economics and Finance course work.
