I began my career on Wall Street in 1998 with the brokerage firm PaineWebber, where I worked in the Office of the Chairman, developing corporate strategy and investing in strategic venture capital opportunities. After the sale of PaineWebber to UBS in 2000, I joined former PaineWebber Chairman and CEO, Don Marron, as a founding member of Lightyear Capital (www.lycap.com). Lightyear is a New York based $2 BN private equity fund, investing in the financial services sector. I attended business school at the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business between 2003 and 2005 and then rejoined Lightyear as a Senior Associate upon graduation.Companies I like:
