Hello, my name is James Douglas Iannarelli and I am a graduate from the University of Florida who worked in the mortgage industry for the past three years. Now I know that currently being a Gator and having working in the mortgage industry is already two strikes against me, but if you take a look at my profile you should see much more.
Let me give you a little description of who I am and what I believe in. When I was young, I was someone who always got by on natural intelligence. However, once I entered college, I developed an insatiable appetite for knowledge. Currently, you can find me reading just about everything I can get my hands on, especially enjoy thought provoking works. I enjoy conducting research, analyzing information and learning about new cultures and ideas. While some of those interests may sound strange, I also enjoy more normal things like football and basketball.
I would also like to add that probably my most dominant trait is my focus on personal improvement. This was my main reason for entering the mortgage industry. I knew that I lacked certain skills that I couldn't learn quickly on most career tracks but could develop rather quickly in the mortgage industry. Specifically, I developed an entrepreneurial mindset that now helps me to distinguish opportunities from failures, strong presentation skills, an ability to work under intense pressure and an ability to find compromise and consensus in situations that many would find unfeasible.
In general, the industry was probably not a perfect fit for my other skills and interests; however, it did play the role I was hoping it would. Now, I am looking for a career where I can combine both skill sets.
Take a look and please let me know if you have any questions.
Sincerely,
James Douglas Iannarelli
