Did some work for Raytheon in the area of Intrusion detection for their Secure networks division, resulted in 10 different patent applications and a new contract with the Navy to develop the tools an manage their network with them. Did some work for HRL Laboratories internally to look at the value of new ways to do optical coupling for microring resonators utilizing a new fabrication technique. Did simulations of coupling taking into account the new geometry and fabrication details. The next step is to explore the problem space to find the ideal dimensions then build and test it.
