• Over 7+ years of experience as Sr. Financial Analyst/Business Analyst and Accounting Analyst with good analysis, requirements writing and UAT skills • Excellent work experience with finance, accounting, tax systems and thorough understanding of P & L (Profit & Loss), Balance Sheet statements, Capital Expenditure (CAPEX), Secondary Mortgage Market. • Familiar with SOX guidelines, previous experience working with SOX compliance and Auditing. • Familiar with amortizing and depreciating the Capital Expenditure for purchasing assets, goodwill paid to buy a business. • Conversant in a broad range of technologies and tools, including business process tools such as MS-Project, MS-Visio, MS-Access, MS-Excel, MS-PowerPoint, Data Analysis/requirement gathering tools • Strong Analytical and Documentation skills, functional knowledge of systems in the Financial, IT & Energy industry • Good working experience with Business Intelligence (BI) tools like Hyperion & Business Objects. • Thorough Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), involved in various phases like Requirements, Analysis/Design, Development and Testing. • Experience in working with functional Peoplesoft Financials 8.4 (GL,AP & AR, Billing) Accomplished professional with expertise in accounting procedures, forecasting market trends to create optimal business plans, and strategic financial models
