Responsibilities
My most recent position, as a mad scientist (lead instructor) for Mad Science of McHenry county, IL, I had the responsibility of a classroom full of children ranging from five to thirteen; engaged the class, taught them complex scientific theories and concepts in a manner that they can understand followed by demonstrations to reinforce said concepts. Another major responsibility was the moving forward of the company. I was able to use my scientific background to aid in the repair of microscopes, design of new experiments and demonstrations for repeat students, so that they have something new to watch - and while doing this maintaining safety - and last redesigning an entire two-week long camp that wasn't engaging the children into something that became their favorite class to have ever attended.
