CollapseResponsibilities

- At Bridgewater Associates, I contributed to the Client Service Analytics team's original research by replicating trades, constructing ‘optimal’ portfolio suggestions for clients, and creating and back-testing benchmark return streams. In addition, I maintained my own alpha portfolio via access to almost any security Bridgewater could trade. This “Trading Game,” paid via bonus, allowed me to gain first hand experience in developing, implementing, and managing trade ideas as well as monitoring and participating in the global financial markets. - At the Department of Labor, I wrote two papers utilizing high level statistical models. These papers entailed manipulating data, constructing variables, building a model, and testing hypotheses, and communicating my findings. I submitted my second paper to the Journal of Health Economics.
