Responsible for developing new commercial opportunities, enhancing existing business relationships with key customers and industry contacts, resolving service and other logistical problems, and providing solutions to customer needs. Analyze and prepare business reports for corporate and customer base. I actively negotiate pricing and contracts with LTL carriers, cartage agents, airlines, and transportation providers on multiple projects and lane segments for Central Global Express’ customers. I monitor and evaluate carrier service levels and provide Lane Analysis for CGE staff to choose the Carrier that best meets quality and service levels for our customers resulting in a reduction of costs while ensuring quality service.
I also design and manage corporate training and programs to ensure DOT, OSHA, TSA, and FAA compliance. Develop CBT and Internet based training programs for employees and management. Meet with Executive Management on a weekly basis for strategic planning on business development, training needs, government compliance, and budget policy.
