I am a professional accountant with over 20 years of experience managing the budget, accounting, and financial operations of large development and humanitarian assistance portfolios. Due to my many years of distinguished service with USAID and the U.S. Embassy, the U.S. Government recently awarded me a Special Immigrant Visa (Green Card) to live and work in the U.S. As a Senior Budget Advisor with USAID, I managed a multi-year foreign assistance portfolio worth approximately $1.5 billion. Before my 15 years with USAID, I worked with an U.S. Embassy as a Budget Analyst for eight years during which I helped restore its financial operations after an attack.
