As a Telecommunications/Multi-Media Specialist my work background and abilities include: * Providing direct technical operational and set-up support for on or off-site events such as professional meetings, conferences, special presentations, dedications, and other events. * Selecting the appropriate equipment necessary to meet client request specifications VTC, data collaboration, or audiovisual technology. * Ensuring equipment delivery, set up, operation, dismantling and pickup of rental equipment with vendors * Operating the audiovisual loan pool which includes maintaining an inventory of materials and equipment necessary to meet the audiovisual needs of the HQ or Regional Staff. * Providing training to HQ or Regional FLD staff in the proper use and care of audiovisual equipment and VTC equipment. * Providing equipment specifications, cost and vendor information to requests * Making recommendations and offering advice on new audiovisual equipment, data collaboration technology and meeting room technology upgrades.
