Environment is comfortable with casual attire acceptable most of the time.
Job where I am really interested in their products, services, or what they are trying to accomplish so I can feel that I am making more of an impact with my work. I have interests in the Environment (going green, conservation, etc.), Math, Sciences, Teaching/Training, Building/Remodeling/Projects, Design, Flying, Creativity, Brainstorming, Think Tank involvement, Art, and more.
Company that is employee conscious with regard to training their employees, and not work their employees to burnout or stress.
I do have a passion for several things including wanting to build IT back up in the US or any business for that matter. Off-shoring projects are a possibility where some of the team is out of the country since that is where many businesses are at the moment.
I also am interested in the entrepreneurial spirit of the American citizen, and how to create more jobs for older citizens especially who want and need to work. I like the idea of buying American made products and services once again, if that is at all possible, and I think it really is possible.
Travel would be an added plus if not too extensive (meaning 25-75% would be acceptable), and certainly would not mind traveling out of the country if it was deemed a safe place to travel to. I do like to travel.
Job would have ideally 4 weeks vacation though one does not usually speak about that.
Open to relocation to certain states in the US. I might even consider Canada. I would have to sell my home if relocation was needed. Relocation reimbursement is required since I have many expenses currently.
Company that gives equal pay for men and women in the same position.
A company that does not have people retire at a set age say 65 (forced retirement) or encourage people of that age to retire.
A company that offers training to their employees and keeps them updated with what they need to know to do their job instead of just firing them because a new group of people have certain skills and they get hired while you, the employee, are out of a job.
I like people reporting to me. I have worked with up 14 people in a team effort to get my projects done, and also have had to interface with many people in other areas of a company to get those same projects completed on time.
I have considered relocaton to Colorado, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Missouri, Alabama, Texas, Wyoming, even Canada at times, and other locations. Just ask me if a location would be right for me.
