* Nominated for the 2002 Beaver County Athena Award sponsored by the Beaver Valley and Professional Women's Club, which focuses on outstanding professional and business women in the community to recognize their accomplishments and years of community service. * Conceptualized and organized Contact Beaver Valley, elected as the first president of the board of directors. Established the operating polices, recruited and trained the volunteers, taught courses on domestic violence, active listening, grief and loss and dealing with depression. * Established the first board of directors for the Women's Center of Beaver County and served as the first board president.
