I am currently in the middle of two internships. One is with the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) Headquarters in Washington, D.C., while the other internship opportunity is with the College of Health & Public Policy at Delaware State University. With PAHO I conduct research for analysis on existing HIV/AIDS studies to develop an updated report for the Gender, Ethnicity, & Health unit of the organization. This literature will enable the unit to discover ways for the North, Central, and South American populations to better understand how to approach the risk factors involved with the growing number of HIV/AIDS victims in the areas. Through both internships I do promotional work that allows them to get the response they want from their public audiences.
