I am eager to bring students into the academic world using a unique combination of my educational and working experiences coupled with years of business background. I hold an Education Specialist Teaching Credential and Bachelors degree in Business Administration. Experienced in use of technology based educational software, e.g., Inspiration, Prezi presentation, website creation, spreadsheets, Google forms, and digital storytelling. Dedicated to enthusiastic and dynamic teaching as a means of ensuring students' success in school and nurturing a lifelong love of knowledge. In the classroom, I work with students who can vary from mild to severe disabilities, using specialized techniques to help them reach their goals. I also collaborate with other staff including general education, physical and occupational therapists, school psychologists, and administration to help students improve academically and socially. I keep records on my students' progress, encourage positive behaviors, and serving as a source of information and support in the Resource and general education classes. I work as a co-teacher in general education classrooms to support students. In dealing with parents, administration, teachers, and other support staff I practice professional attitude and the ability to work under pressure.
