Social Studies Teacher with experience in middle and high school grades. Taught Global History, United States History, Government and Economics with a minimum of three years teaching each course. Was a principal participant in the creation of history curriculum for grades 9-12 in a new, small school initiative in NYC. Planned collaboratively with several different teachers and experienced success in the process and application of lessons for collaborative teaching. Trained in the Common Core standards, and their applications in the Social Studies classroom.
