Head of Manufacturing NAFTA July 2016 - Present * Responsible for the overall cost, safety, inventories, delivery performance and quality of all products produced and sourced in the US, Canada and Mexico. * Managed a group of 2200 employees at 7 different locations when assuming the position and will have reduced the manufacturing footprint to 3 locations and approximately 1000 employees by December of 2018. * Successfully closed 4 plants during this time period with 3 being union facilities. During the plant closures also relocated glass production, lamp assembly equipment, and capsule production to Kentucky and Juarez Mexico. * Overall responsibility for the design, development, build, debug and introduction of production for 6 production lines to produce LED lighting products in two different US locations to support a major made in America program for a key retail customer. Units were designed, built, installed and debugged in a 9 month period and have produced nearly 40M units since the introduction.
