Professor of English language and Literature, writing and Critical Thinking 22 years' experience teaching in colleges and universities, emphases on Latin American and Irish literature. Strong background in building sustainable academic programs, and in mentoring and advising college students. Extensive experience working with management, faculty and staff in shared governance and in student services for all students, with special emphases on veteran and Latino/a students.
