Organizational Development: * Assessed divisional needs created a 6 month industry orientation program for newly recruited middle managers. Program was adopted nationally 70% of participating managers promoted into their targeted positions ensuring an ongoing succession plan. * Implemented new HRIS system allowing for more "instant" access to desired information for management reporting requirements. * Created total compensation structure including wages, performance reviews, benefits and incentives to ensure competitive market position. * Researched, negotiated and implemented a web-based applicant tracking program resulting in a streamlined system using all electronic data, reducing the paper usage for printing and copying resumes for review. * Traveled internationally to implement US policies to international locations - global on-boarding program, company culture transition program (3P's), Talent Assessment Program, global incentive program, etc. Program Development and Management: * Researched, designed and implemented a complete basic Human Resources program for a maturing business, ensuring legal compliance and striving for preferred employer status. * Developed recruiting programs for retail field locations (860 stores/25 states) resulting in consistent interviewing and hiring practices. * Designed safety program for food processing manufacturing plant encouraging reduction in reportable accidents and creating a safe work environment. * Established a "team" relationship with L & I' s consulting division ensuring a period of development to ensure total compliance to WISHA requirements resulting in a potential savings in fines of approximately $50,000. * Acted as ISO Management team member to design, establish, communicate, and implement a new quality assurance program. Company successfully obtained ISO 9001 certification.
