SUMMARY Empower marginalized adults, adolescents and youth to enhance self-concept, dignity and society value. * Leverage success overcoming personal life experiences in educating others to self-transform problems and adversity into power benefiting themselves and society. * Enable disadvantaged and learning-disabled youth to build educational success patterns by using art, music, poetry, creative writing and theater accomplishments to foster sense of pride and self-confidence. * Transform negative adult behavior, from upbringing, heredity and environmental conditions, to hope for future success, by guiding them to medical, financial and career resources to enable self-support and esteem. * Influence young males of color through individual and group counseling to achieve positive behavior and encourage community cohesion listen to them and enable them to develop self-worth and embrace change. * Improve methadone maintenance treatment outcomes and achieve complete recoveries through motivational interviewing, individual and group counseling to encourage abstinence. * Identify social barriers to self-sufficiency and recovery for narcotic/alcohol users and other populations through conduction and evaluation of Bio-Psycho-Social Assessments. * Lead and collaborate in public presentations at colleges, schools and community centers to increase awareness of challenges and disparities encountered by homeless youth, their families and build advocacy for them.
