Accomplishments
Highlights:
1) I developed and taught an intermediate Spanish course for Fairfax County, VA public education.2) I taught ESL in Brazil, where I also intiated the construction of two school buildings through recruitment of volunteer labor, contributed services of a topographer and and architect, government approval, and acquisition of materials from the US School-to-School program.3) I collaborated with a fellow bilingual Tax Law Specialist and representatives of the OAS on creation of a technical English-Spanish, Spanish-English glossary of tax terminology. This glossary is still the cornerstone of IRS Spanish-language forms and publications.4) I taught, with native-speaker certification, Spanish, English, and Portuguese for Berlitz School of Languages, and I was seleced instructor of the year for the Nashville school in the year 2000.5) I repeatedly won outstanding performance awards in my career with the IRS.Companies I like:
