Summary of Experience: Over 33 years of diverse experience in construction industry, particularly structural design of buildings and bridges, Industrial Structures, Development of Township, hydraulic design for water supply projects and construction management experience in the public and private sector. Complex projects among those are: 1. Water Supply project in Kerala under aid of Japan Bank - Structural consultant and designer for the main structures - Bridges, Water Treatment Plants, Over Head Reservoirs, Pumping House Etc. Project Cost is about US $800 Million. 2. Lead preliminary design work for the Project - Qatar- Bahrain Causeway. Also, known as Qatar Bahrain friendship bridge which has a Length of 40 km (25 miles). The design work includes Preliminary Road carriage way, Wharf, Jetty, Quay wall, loading pattern and system of pre-cast units to sea. 3. Barwa project -(Commercial complex) - One of the largest civil projects in Qatar consist of 2.1 Km length shopping complex. Coordinated and completed the execution of project with working drawings and details of design change 4. Elbphilharmonie - A monument convention Centre at Hamburg (Germany) Creating required drawings and verifying shop drawings for the construction of one of the largest and most acoustically advanced concert hall in the world. Construction and renovation of Convention Hall for General Petroleum company in Doha-Qatar - As a person for Project in Charge, got involved with all renovation and modification works required for the Convention Centre. 6. Township Project - The project includes development of 600 Hectors of land for in suburb of Mumbai, India. The project started with detailed survey, checking of Master plan, Geological survey of land, and identifying resource developments like water supply, power supply and construction materials availability for the project As part of making township self-sufficient, other infrastructure like area for 7 Hole Golf course, Road, 5 star hotel, Convention Centre, Malls etc. was developed. As the design manager for the project, my role was the coordination with Lead consultants such as CES - Mumbai, Potential Consultants -Bangalore, Edifice - Mumbai to complete project on time. 7. Karaitiyat Plaza, Karaitiyat Park, &Umm Salal Ali Park- These three projects were part of town beautification at park in Qatar. As a Structural Design Manager, designed Auditorium, Stadium and entrainment space for these parks. 8. Lincoln Tower in New York- USA 28 Story building in upper west side of New York city, USA. As a Structural Design Manger, the required drawings and details for the construction are designed and created using relevant building codes. 9. Ellis Park - South Africa - A Multi-Level Car parking for football Stadium in Johannesburg, south Africa. As Structural Design Manager designed the six-level car parking building with Gallery for viewers to watch games. 10. Hotel Project - 5+ Star Hotel -Heritage in Madurai, TN. Executed the project as General Manager-Civil. Executing and making decisions for Civil works, preparation of Arch. & Civil Drawings as per site requirement and as per the direction of Architect from Sri Lanka.
