I am a livestock nutrition and consumer products sales and service specialist, with 28 years of experience in all levels of sales quality control technical service customer relations employee training and consumer education. Qualifications: Territory Sales Manager - Create and implement sales plans, budgets and market support in a three state area for feed and consumer products generating $450k in profit annually. Making sure points of distribution are maximized and product quality, profitability and consumer acceptance is optimally maintained. Develop new points of distribution through trade shows, cold calls, website inquiries, and dealer and consumer events. Foster relationships with customers ensuring sales and acceptance and of new products and programs. Designated contact and consultant to wholesale, retail and end use customers on the nutrition, health and productivity needs of livestock and pets. I inform customers of their options, taking into account the purpose and life stage suitability of the products I am recommending. Maintain contact with these customers throughout the business relationship to ensure merchandising, best practice recommendations and expected performance outcomes. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Publisher). Marketing/Sales and Advertising - Schedule, prepare for and participate in outside educational presentations on nutrition, animal health and management of livestock and pets for 4-H and FFA groups, private clubs and organizations, dealer events and distributor trade shows. Support Marketing Department through national events such as Mother Earth News Fair, True Value Hardware Show and American Rabbit Breeders Convention. * Create promotional materials, product knowledge sheets, Power Point presentations and information for customers on new products and services as needed. Serve on advisory committee for product developments. Quality Control and Technical Service - * First line of communication in case of quality complaints by customers and in charge of sample collection and follow up with customer. * Ensure dealer employees are trained and educated about the correct use and benefits of products, merchandising on sales floor, rotation of product based of date of manufacture and maintaining clean, sanitary storage and display environment. Following up with supervision to ensure the product remains in best condition, properly displayed to enhance consumer sales. * Accountable for the investigation and resolution of customer complaints. Consolidate the findings of all inquiries, produce a final written report and aid in settlement negotiations if required, all in a timely manner.
