Description
COVER LETTER: Dear Recruiter, After reviewing a recent posting on your website, I am very interested in working with your organization and believe I can provide value to your team. The Onboarding and Training Specialist position is a great match with my experience. I am a 25-year veteran of the corporate training industry. Throughout my career, I have provided training leadership in support of higher productivity, quality standards and customer satisfaction for continued business growth and profitability. My ongoing role has been to drive the vision and strategic direction by assessing company and customer needs, identifying trends and designing training solutions for improvement through leader-led, online or virtual delivery. I have a proven track record of effectively managing development training teams, including evolving the delivery of programs to address changing needs. At my pervious company, I led an initiative to migrate classes to a virtual training environment, achieving an 80% level within two years. This resulted in significant savings on student travel costs and company classroom equipment. I also created and implemented a quality evaluation process for new and seasoned instructors to ensure quality, accountability and benchmark success. In addition, I revamped a Train the Trainer program whereby an instructor could be facilitating within weeks of learning a new product, thereby improving time to podium. I am passionate about learning and development and hope this is an opportunity for me to see if my skills and experience can help you address any training challenges you are seeing today. Please refer to my resume for additional accomplishments, and I hope to speak with you as well. Thank you for your consideration. Regards
