Administrative Assistant Electronic Data Systems (EDS) August 1998 - September 2004 U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs account, Herndon, VA Responsible for the management and coordination of all administrative activities, including transitioning, training and supervision of administrative support staff in the Herndon office and 15 remote customer sites. Responsible for the bi-weekly Federal timecard application to ensure accuracy and timely completion of all employees. Developed account-wide administrative policies and procedures account wide. Work closely with Human Resources, EDS Corporate Payroll and Benefits department regarding various employee issues. Additional duties include: completing hiring documents and updating and maintaining account Salary Plan databases. Administrative Assistant/Facility Coordinator Electronic Data Systems (EDS) December 1997 - August 1998 Tennessee Call Center account, Knoxville, TN Administrative Assistant: Trained and supervised administrative secretary on the account. Coordinated benefit reviews with local HMO representative. Completed processing of each monthly new hire class. Primary contact with temporary staffing agencies. Handled security for account, including implementing policies, procedures and scheduling of guards. Established all vendor accounts, including cleaning services, snack machines and plant services. Coordinating hiring workshop for Mississippi Medicaid, scheduled interviews and test for potential new hires, established vendor accounts and arranged temporary housing for relocating employees. Trained new employees on EDS policies and corporate programs, established safety procedures and assisted in writing the Disaster Recovery Plan for the account. Receptionist/Facility Coordinator Electronic Data Systems (EDS) October 1992 - March 1994 Sacramento Systems Support account, Sacramento, CA Receptionist: Fielded and redirected incoming phone calls on the AT&T 75 system, maintained telephone directory for the California Medi-Cal account, Sacramento Systems support and four off-site support centers. Helped security coordinate issuance of building access badges to employees, temporary workers, vendors and visitors.
