Summary contract specialist/contract administrator I have over 26 years of contracting/acquisition experience working for the Federal Government, managing all types of Government contracts from cradle to grave, including close-out. I would like to continue working for another 3 to 5 years in the contracting/acquisition arena. After leaving the Federal Government I worked as a Contracts Manager for Waste Control Specialists (WCS) which was for the underground storage of nuclear waste. Depending on the country, I would also consider an overseas assignment. I worked with people from all over the world, as well as leading high level conferences with Congressional Committees. I have worked as an acquisition professional responsible for the full range of the acquisition process. I have worked with the U. S. Army Air Force Navy DCMA DeCA and the Department of Energy (DOE) managing all types of defense contracts/ subcontracts. I served as a Contract Specialist Contract Administrator Small Business Specialist and Procurement Analyst managing both contracts and sub-contracts. I held an Unlimited Contracting Officer's Warrant for approximately 15 years and worked as a Supervisor for 14 of the 26 years I worked for the Government. I worked as a Contracting Officer and Procurement Analyst while serving two tours in Riyadh Saudi Arabia dealing with foreign military sales. I also awarded and managed/administered Grants with Universities State Governments and several Indian Tribes throughout New Mexico during my tenure with the Department of Energy (DOE).
