Experience and Summary of Qualifications * Professional, excellent people skills, ability to work with all levels of nonexempt and exempt staff. * Fluent in English and Spanish (verbal and written) * Serves as first point of contact for managers and employees and provides information and guidance or direct inquiries to appropriate resources. * Conducts recruitment effort for all exempt and nonexempt personnel. * Conducts new-hire orientations, background checks, pre-employment physicals with drug test, eVerify and I-9. * Maintain confidentiality of all information and maintains all new-hire, personnel and medical files * Act as an advocate for employees and managers in a manner that promotes trust, open communication, and problem resolution. * Answer and interpret questions related to Company policy and procedures and ensure consistent application * Provide coaching, counseling and direction to employees and managers in areas such as conflict resolution, performance management and compensation. * Performs benefits administration to include claims resolution, benefit information to employees, open enrollment, and administer group health plans * Work with managers and employees to resolve diverse and complex employee relation issues such as harassment, discrimination, performance improvement plan, etc. * Provide daily departmental support by responding to and fulfilling requests for information via fax phone or mail. * Respond to requests for employment verifications, disability claims and unemployment claims. * Conducts exit interviews and processes final payroll and system processing
