In addition to transferring employees to/from old and new hierarchies * Take action authorized during Manager's absence and use initiative and judgment to see that matters requiring attention are referred to delegated authority or handled in a manner so as to minimize effect of Manager's absence. * Communicate manager instructions or desires to various individuals and/or departments and furnish and obtain information from other supervisors (attaching appropriate file to facilitate necessary action determine routing signatures required and maintain follow-up) * Assemble and submit relevant data from files or request information from others in the department to satisfy a report need for information request from the supervisor * Handle diversified activities involving close coordination with other staff members and their assistants * May manage various administrative projects participate in gathering research and generates reports as needed. Follows same procedures for electronic mail. Review proofread and format all correspondence prepared for the leader's signature to ensure accuracy and completeness as well as consistency with the association's policy standards and exercises good judgment in following up with staff to ensure deadlines are met on documents requiring the president's signature. * Mentor new executive assistants and other new staff. Liaison with other departmental executive assistants (on and off site) for communication fostering of good working relationships problem solving information sharing. Work with executive assistants to develop and maintain Aristocrat's correspondence guidelines and advise all support staff on proper correspondence processes and procedures. Provide personal support as needed.
