Recruit an adequate number of qualified cadet candidates from the Maryland counties, including Baltimore City and Washington DC. Supervised and evaluated one staff member, Coordinate cadet candidate recruitment efforts with other youth service agencies and Community Liaison personnel and counsel cadets on retention. Capital Guardian Youth Challenge Academy: Supervise and evaluated an Assist RPM Coordinator and four case managers who duties are to perform post residential and placement functions. Ensure that an adequate numbers of mentors are recruited, screen, train and matched with their cadets. Ensure that the case managers are monitoring the mentor/cadet relationship. Establish and maintain liaison with management staff, and/or field elements affecting the operation of the Academy. COUNSELING: Conduct individual and group social counseling for juveniles and adults. Develop, monitor and evaluate rehabilitation treatment plan for juvenile delinquents and adults. Submit weekly administrative reports. Supervise, counsel, advice and monitor resident's career goals, education and training. Supervised and evaluated eight staff members on their assigned duties. Complete payroll time spreadsheets. Provide informal and formal parenting education to participants in their home to address the specific developmental needs of a child. Offers supportive counseling and assistance related to parent-child issues and make referrals to community or other appropriate agencies to include mental health providers.
