I placed one of my company’s premier brands with a major food retailer, Meijer, and the product now generates nearly $5M in annual sales. Other account managers had tried to achieve this goal for 14 years. Within the first year of being assigned the task, it was mission accomplished. During my first year as manager of a second major customer, Kroger, I produced $20M in sales and $6M in profit. Was able to get a new brand on the shelf nationally. I was District Manager for a division of Nestle for five years. During that time, I won multiple performance awards that included “Profit Center and District of the Year.” One of my greatest achievements was turning the rapidly declining Michigan region (that had lost money for years) into a $50M business producing $6M in profit for the company. I understand what it takes to open new markets, carve out market niches, and meet aggressive sales and revenue goals.
