PROFILE Over 30 years experience in the Las Vegas hospitality industry with 5 years of non-profit management. Customer focused, dedicated and excellent problem solving skills. Seeking professional position that will utilize my skills and abilities. & PRIMARY EXPERTISE groups * Supervised the Convention Services staff which was comprised of approximately 12 managers, coordinators, and assistants who handled the daily convention/trade-show operations of a 6,000+ room property with an 1.8 million square foot convention center. * Responsible for hiring the Services staff and assigning the definite bookings as received from the Convention Sales Department. per month which included the coordination of housing and program requirements monitored the billing and deposit requirements arranged site inspection/planning visits which included various departments from the hotels conducted pre-convention meetings and inspected the pre-set meeting/function rooms of the groups while on-site. Responsible for the integration of the new Convention Resume assisted with the new policies/procedures manual and various business forms associated with the opening of the new convention center.
