Makita MRO market manager I support my sales territory by presenting Makita products and services to support specific end-user applications by indirect selling to key MRO accounts and distributors. By partnering with National Distributors I am able to sell and focus on many industries including manufacturing maintenance government transportation and utilities. Job responsibilities include -Travel approximately 75% to cover four state territory -Manage relationships with 300+ distributor branches -Introduce end-users to Makita brand by cold-calling -Build and maintain quality relationships with MRO distributors and key account users -Plan and execute sales presentations dealer meetings lunch and learns and safety/product training -Participate in national industry tradeshows -Update CRM monthly reporting expense report submission shipping follow up -Manage inventory -Negotiate with National Account Managers to help distributors maintain margins and win deals year-2016
