Experience Summary: * Having 10+ years of experience working with application software development, maintenance and re-engineering of IBM mainframe related applications. * Received summit award and appreciation from the Delphi management for leading a project that reduced mainframe operating cost by eliminating DB2 from an application. * Experience in Analysis, Design, Coding, Testing, Implementation, Job scheduling and good Client communication. * Experience in software development life cycle (SDLC) using COBOL, DB2, JCL, CICS, VSAM, CA Easytrieve and well conversant with tools such as CA 7 Scheduler, Endevor, File-AID, Intertest, Spufi etc. * Experience with batch production support activities and good understanding of quality procedures. * Complete knowledge of FTP and SMTP jobs. * Ability to prepare documents including Requirements gathering, Technical Design, Testing strategy, Test cases, Test results, defect tracking and supporting documents for project management. * Highly flexible and capable of learning new applications. Well versed with business analysis and any new requirement analysis with excellent communication skills.
