SIGNIFICANT EXPERIENCE: FLUOR (March 2013 to Present) (Long Beach, CA) LARIC Project (FEL-3 & FEL-4) PRINCIPAL DESIGN ENGINEER (Oct. 2014 to present) This project when completed will connect both TESORO Carson and Wilmington refineries and upgrade jet fuel and produce ULSD. In this capacity I am responsible to attend HAZOP/LOPA meetings, prepare E&I Risk assessment reports, Finalize control schemes on the P&IDs. Check and review all in line instrument data sheets, control Narratives, C&E tables, Loop & Logic diagrams. Meet with TESORO counter parts to study and finalize the constructability of all new and modified existing instruments. (Aliso Viejo, CA) GASCO Project (UAE) PRINCIPAL DESIGN ENGINEER (March 2013 to Oct. 2014) In this capacity I am responsible for expansion FEED project and prepare +/- 15% cost estimate for all major instruments/control packages such as HIPPS, Sectionalizing valves, ESD valves, etc. for the new gas pipeline as well as new gas processing facilities Preparation of specification for PLC (A-B PLCs 3 & 5) based control system. HVAC air blower surge control design using A-B PLC 5 PID loops. Preparation of instrument data sheets for lethal chemical weapon destruction facility. CONUS project Design and configuration of local control panels preparation of P&IDs development of control flow charts logic diagrams loop diagrams and instrument installation details. Participation in vendor data review field installation of instrumentation and control systems such as PLCs and CEMS analyzers. Systemization and calibration of control loops for boilers burners power generators (Diesel/Gas turbine) and material handling equipment.
