CAREER SUMMARY: Over sixteen years of research experience on osteoarthritis, which involves tissue culture (Human Cartilage- used from tissue donors) and protein work. Designing and performing experiments, data analysis and publishing and presenting in scientific journals/conferences in the field of Osteoarthritis research. Maintain hospital and laboratory policies, procedures, objectives, quality assurance, and safety guidelines. Over fourteen years of extensive hands-on as Medical Technologist in all the departments of Lab. Medicine, including over two years of supervisory experience as Lab Supervisor can co-ordinate technical functions and activities in any or all divisions of clinical laboratories. Assist department administration with determination of need for development of new services. Compute laboratory cost including budget worksheets, expense and income sheets, and projected equipment needs as pertaining to laboratories. Maintain hospital and department policies, procedures, objectives, quality assurance, safety environmental and infection control. Integrate students and assign them to divisions as determined by curriculum and clinical experience requirements and can handle varying workloads /odd hours.
