While technology has increased the speed of design, planning, implementation, analytics, response and efficacy in delivery, the core principles of marketing remain the same: the message, media strategy and their cost-effectiveness. No matter how we look at it, effective marketing is great story telling - and great story telling is positioning and differentiation. Career overview: I am marketing strategist, with a demonstrated track record in not only designing and crafting the message in print and digital, but, devising the media strategy that had reduced the cost of each customer acquisition. I have had the privilege of working on iconic hundred year old brands like Kleenex and Kotex, Mobil and Montgomery Ward. In my present position at Peddada.com, as a CCO and marketing director, I had changed the marketing paradigm, from a traditional B2B method of acquiring accounts at the trade-show circuit, to direct marketing to customers. This shift in approach resulted in a dramatic increase of profitability by eliminating the middleman, and also reduced per customer acquisition cost. Besides being strategic thinker in marketing, I am also gifted with penetrating design-and-writing skills and can direct a marketing communications alchemy for maximum impact.
