Description
SUMMARY OF QUALIFICATIONS * Administers various human resources plans and procedures for Company personnel including employment, employee relations, compensation and recruiting * Answers questions and assists with problem resolution for employees and managers * Evaluates human relations and work-related problems and develops solutions within the confines of policy and directives * Provides Employee Assistance Plan (EAP) referrals when necessary * Coaches, counsels and trains Managers/Supervisors on the new hire process, employee performance, disciplinary and termination matters * Assists managers in composing documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness * Administers the compensation program, which includes developing position descriptions, performing job analysis, analyzing salary surveys to monitor internal equity and market competitiveness and monitors the performance evaluation program * Assists managers with the Merit Planning process * Plans and executes special projects as assigned by Human Resources Manager * Keeps abreast of latest trends and technology related to human resource functions. Recommends continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed * Participates in developing department goals, objectives and systems * Handles employee relations counseling, outplacement counseling and exit interviewing * Participates in administrative staff meetings and attends other meetings and seminars * Assists in evaluation of reports, decisions and results of department in relation to established goals
