Served 10 years in the Air Force enlisting in 1976 and discharged in 1986 as a Technical Sergeant Initially assigned to the Air Force Weapons Laboratory in Albuquerque NM as a programmer. Transferred to the Air Force Office of Security Police also in Albuquerque NM as a programmer/analyst earning a STEP promotion to Tech Sergeant.
