CAREER HIGHLIGHTS * Production Director during the successful "start up" of a new $50 million dollar plant in Lost Foam technology in 2000. I personally train the technical US team in Italy for 6 months prior the start up of the plant. * Preproduction manager in molding injection technology in Magneti Marelli. Took department with scrap rate at 40%, OEE at 40%, labor loss at 300% and launch of 6 new program and main responsible of downtime for assembly department for lack of components for average of 20-30 hrs downtime per day. After 6 months scrap rate at 18%, OEE at 72%, labor loss at 80%, successful launch for all 6 new program and zero downtime in assembly for lack of components from pre-production. as a result of these KPI improvement the plant move from having considerable negative EBITDA to be profitable and new benchmark for other plants in the company. * In 2012, Production plant achieved 6 years without a Lost-Time Accident. * Break even EBITDA on 2011 vs. budget for loss over $4 million USD as a result of 70% volume decrease from previous year. * Implemented several lean manufacturing initiatives such as Value Stream Mapping, 5S, Kaizen teams, and the first stages of Total Production Maintenance (TPM).
