CollapseDescription

Career Focus My main focus is to step into each project with an attitude of knowing that this project will be completed on time and within budget constraints. I am dedicated to the job at hand, with excellent technical, analytical and communication skills. I work well with the team to finish the product and/or project to completion and have been told that I was a key factor for jobs being done on time and with little on the checklist to finish. I have over 25 years in the construction building industry, helping maintain quality and sound product to the end. Superintendent/Assistant Superintendent Experience Supervised and kept daily records on the daily outcome of subcontractors. Fluent in all levels of blue prints. Created an environment that would keep the project maintaining the desired outcome of the set schedule. Created a positive relationship with all those working on the project so it could run smoothly and on time. Thorough and complete knowledge and understanding of the General Contract, each Subcontract specifications and addenda, and assisted the Project Manager in the development of on-site procedures. Assisted the Project Manager and Scheduling Manager in the development and refinement of the Project Schedule and worked with the Project Manager to keep the schedules properly updated and saw that the job met the various required dates. Reviewed all Slips to ensure shipments were completed saved Slips for the Project Manager. Insured that subcontractors enforced their safety programs. And much MORE! Helped set up estimates, budgets and construction timetables for clients and developed the construction strategies. Helped select subcontractors and workers and provided required explanations for the builders and other professionals associated with the project coordinated and collaborated with architects, engineers and specialists. Ensured the construction project complied with all building codes and any other legal or regulatory requirements. When delays or problems occur - as they always do - the construction manager is the project's first responder, ready to make changes required to move the project past the issue. Evaluated bid specifications and drawings ensuring that we knew everything required to successfully bid and win projects. Followed-up with subcontractors to ensure that bids were received. Worked with the Project Management teams to follow-up on bids and budgets to close the business.
