A lead Development & Project Architect Consultant position * SPECIFIC EXPERIENCE: * Helped to establish several firms' marketing strategies. * Responsible for marketing "creative" design projects. * Researched, planned, designed and administered building projects, applying knowledge of design, construction procedures, zoning, building codes and building materials. * Responsible for the overall design of projects and personally managed the project team through all design and architectural phases. * Consulted with clients to determine functional and spatial requirements of new structures and /or renovations. * Worked closely with the clients, real-estate developers, engineering and construction teams to ensure the goals and needs of the owner were appropriately established and prioritized. * Prepared information regarding programming, master planning, design, specifications, materials, color, & equipment. * Established costs and construction schedules. * Planned layout of projects and integrated engineering elements into unified designs for clients' review and approval. * Developed 3D imagery to win the clients respect and approvals. * Prepared scale drawings and contract documents for building contractors. * Represented some clients in obtaining bids and awarding construction contracts. * Administered construction contracts and conducted periodic on-site observation of work during construction to monitor compliance with all technical documents. * Prepared development packages, planning and feasibility studies, and phasing reports. * Administered the preparation of operating and maintenance manuals, studies and reports. * Used computer assisted design software and equipment to prepare project designs and plans. * Helped in the development of many large and small scale "budget driven" quality oriented architectural and development projects. * Performed in the necessary capacity to maintain the firm's objectives and a commitment to solving any given problem. * REGISTRATION: State of Ohio #5723, 1976
