COVER LETTER FOR THOMAS HOKE I am seeking a challenging position that can best utilize some of my past experiences in both the business and the military world. I have extensive working knowledge of the mortgage business including, taking a client from the initial interview, and selecting a lender to fulfilling their needs, processing the loan and submitting it to the lender by accompanying the client to the closing table whenever possible, to aid in any last minute problems in securing their new mortgage. I also was Vice President of a commodity & investment group doing business nationwide. I took care of all the advertising and promotions, handled all day today operation, and supervised all the other brokers. I did a morning and afternoon drive time radio show, aired on 155+ markets via Westwood One, updating the listeners on the Numismatic (rare coin) and our limited partnership investment project to build seven wireless cable TV stations from licenses we acquired from an FCC auction in Wash., DC. We raised approx. $12 million to fund that cable enterprise alone. All business transactions were done via the telephone, fax and Fed-X. While in Los Angeles, I worked as a staff psychologist in patient assessment prior to seeing the staff psychiatrist, to determine client's needs, arrange voluntary/involuntary hospitalizations, monitored effectiveness of patient's medications administrated, documented behaviors exhibited, screened for homicidal or suicidal behavior and maintained emergency contacts with all other clinicians after receiving a PhD. and being licensed buy the state. I have also been involved in my own Photovoltaic, Solar & Energy Management businesses in California, Nevada & Florida I spent six years in the U.S. Marine Corps and served two tours of duty in Vietnam as a Chinook (CH-46) helicopter pilot. For the last 5 years I have been functioning as owner & manager of a apartment complex in North Saint Petersburg, FL up until December 2015. I have experience with the overall property operations including marketing, leasing, doing rent collections, budgeting, maintenance programs, personnel policy implementing & record keeping. I have worked with community-based organizations for tenants & accepting county rent vouchers. I have customer service and interpersonal skills with strong verbal and written communication skills along with computer skills and am comfortable designing spreadsheets and forms for routine use as well as designing & hosting web sites.
