I at Portland State University, I volunteered at Harriet Tubman leadership academy as a mentor and self defense PE instructor for at risk, special needs, and learning different students. was in charge of the private English tutoring of up to eight individual students requiring various levels of language proficiency as well as course creation curriculum management projects and presentations. All my former students successfully attained the next level of English proficiency required by either the TOEIC or TOEFL tests. I was responsible for fabricating custom stainless steel and titanium weldments for plate heat exchangers for the pasteurization and food industry. I attained a high level of proficiency in advanced welding and polishing techniques utilized on highly advanced and technical machines. Accomplishments: I was the recipient of several prestigious academic scholarships during both high school and university to study abroad. I obtained certifications not only for industrial trades but in traditional Japanese tea ceremony and calligraphy as well as holding a black belt with an international martial arts organization. I also speak several languages fluently including Japanese, Hebrew, Spanish, and some Khmer as well as having experience studying and working abroad.
